This year, the MUBS Entrepreneurship Centre is holding its 8th Annual Entrepreneurship Conference. The inspiration to the theme originates from the need to increase the contribution of women towards development in Uganda and other nations. It makes sense to empower women and while there are several initiatives in different countries globally by governments, international agencies, Non Government Organizations, this conference explores the contribution of entrepreneurship towards empowerment of women.
The Entrepreneurship Conference has in the past been held in conjunction with the College of Business Southern University Louisiana. The Conference attracts academicians, policy makers, researchers, practitioners from East Africa, South Africa, West Africa, Central and Southern Africa, UK and USA.
